How we list

Where the facts come from, and how each list is put in order.

Where the facts come from

Every listing is read from the practice's own website. Each profile says which site it came from and the date it was read. We do not call, survey or score anyone, and we show no reviews or star ratings.

What we check

A machine check confirms that a listing is a real dental practice with an office in a US city. Some listings then get a second check by a reviewer, who compares the record with the website again. Those carry a small mark, "Second check passed", and a date on the profile.

What the four answers mean

Every card shows four answers in the same place: taking new patients, emergency visits, sedation, and books online. A green box means the practice's own website says so. A dashed box with "not stated" means its website does not say. It does not mean no.

What we leave out

We do not show email addresses, personal phone numbers, social media pages, licence numbers of individuals, or prize claims.

How lists are ordered

Practices we checked a second time come first. Then practices with more facts on their website (services, named dentists, hours, languages, booking link). Then A to Z. Nobody pays to be listed or to move up.

Fix or remove a listing

If a listing is wrong, or you do not want it here, see fix or remove a listing.
